Summer surfing at Sikhall – Epic wind
The last couple of weeks have been good. During the summer it can go weeks between the surf, but the last week been so good so we have been in the water three times three different days. The last week we surfed Vassbotten twice but last Saturday Lars and I went up to Sikhall and we scored big time. We both brought sails that was way to big for the wind but since we didn´t bring any other sails we had to suit up and go for it anyway. Good for us the wind was strong and consistence!
Next week hopefully bring us a solid n swell with winds strong enough to create some waves at Vänern again. Time to get some new and smaller sails so we ca hit the big lake 😉

Memories from El Salvador
Its almost two years ago Erica and I did our trip through Central America. When we were there the internet capacity didn´t allow med to upload all the movies I wanted, and when I got back I had a lot of material that I hadn´t used. So a couple of days ago I sat down and did a quick edit from Las flores in El Salvador.

Windsurfing Vänersborg Sweden – Go pro at Oljehamnen
This past week I started working at my new job. This means a more interesting job, but also more freedom as I wrote in the last post. Me and Lasse my surf buddy who is the guy I developing Hapfind with, worked on Monday and a couple of hours the next day before it was time for the first lunch break surf session. We went to a place called Oljehamnen just outside Vänersborg. We have surfed there a couple of times before and the wind direction was pretty good.
Later on this past week we the wind picked up again and we where able to long board at another spot in Lake Vänern. Really good week!!

Last night I looked at the recordings from earlier that day, and was very happy when I saw the result. The videos almost looked as good as it felt… witch isn´t normal if you ask me. The wind was perfect, the sun was going down behind Dalbobergen, the water was warm and the surf felt goooood.
Next week I am starting a new job were I can be even more flexible with the hours so I can jump in the water when it´s good surf and work when it isn´t.
This is one of the rides I got out there.

Here is a viedo from last week. Lars and I went to Sikhall to see if there was any wind. It was super windy when we first got there but then the wind droped when we walked out. Lucky for us the wind picked up a little later on 🙂

Vassbotten, Vänern – Four Seasons
Once again it´s been some time since I last posted. Just want to post this short Vassbotten – Four season video. All the recordings are from the small inner lake of Vänern where I live. This is what we do at our free time. Hopefully there will be some more Wakesurf and Windsurf movies later this summer. The recordings shows Vassbotten in all different seasons, and this is some of the things you could do here

Surfing Puerto Escondido and Zihuatanejo Mexico – Go Pro view
Since El Salvador I haven’t uploaded that much pictures or movies of me surfing. It was hard to perform better than I was doing those couple of days.
In Guatemala I didn´t get any recordings at all, but up in Mexico I finally scored again. As I wrote earlier a really big swell hit the coast the last couple of days and a point break that only works when the swell is bigger than at least six feet went of.
The first day I was out there I was sitting by myself with 30 Mexicans. The next day Erica and I had changed hotel and ended up staying at a local surfer’s house. I can tell you that it was easier catching waves that day when I showed up with him and his son compared to the day before.
The dad was good but the kid was even better. Last year he competed for the Mexican team down in Panama. The last wave in the video was recorded or shot from a guy in the water. Hopefully Ill be able to get those shots.
4 pm today the ferry leavs the dock here in Mazatlan.
We are of for Baja.

I heard people talking about that they are getting tired in there legs in the the end of the wave when the rides are really long. I always thought that was bullshit, but a couple of days ago I had that feeling for the first time of my life.
